Valentine's day look.

one red bow,
a hair pin,
a hair clip,
hairbrush.
Hair spray/Hair mousse

So the festive season is over, but that doesn't mean the parties stop right? With Valentine's day coming up next month, I thought I'd do a piece on Valentine's day looks. Of course we all know one thing that never goes amiss on Valentines, that is the colour red!As you can see I have used a red bow, it just brings the whole look to life. Also loose curls are most definitely the way forward! Loose curls just scream sexy and provide a certain "Je ne sais quois", that guys love.

If you can't find a bow, I suggest a flower, a red scrunchy or even little clips. Anything that will make your look "pop", liven it up a little! Don't be boring, if you're going to look good, might as well go the whole way right?

Step 1 - Make sure you have all things needed to complete the look. You don't want to be running around the place, whilst you're in the midst of one thing. So keep all the things needed in close proximity to you.

Step 2 - Start brushing your hair, you need to make sure that there are no tangles or knots. Turn the Curling tong on and let it heat up, keep it in a safe non flammable place.

Step 3 - Divide your hair in to sections. Split your hair in two to three sections. If your hair is thick, then three sections, but if it lacks volume and is quite thin then two is advised.

Step 4 -  Start to wrap sections of your hair around the tong. Make sure that you only curl the end tips of the hair strands, as we want loose sexy curls. So instead of wrapping your hair all around the tong, just curl the bottom of your hair.

Step 5 - When your hair is wrapped around the tong, be sure to keep hold the hair in position for a good three to four seconds, any more than that will just cause more unnecessary damage to your hair.

Step 6 - Let go of your hair in a slow unraveling motion, as it puts more emphasis on the curls. Make sure that the curl is right, it should be straight till the bottom, the bottom should appear like a ringlet.
